Save the Date: The Rowan Foundation is excited to announce that it has been selected to participate in the Kendra Scott Gives Back Program on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in recognition of World Thrombosis Day.
Each year, people recognize World Thrombosis Day (WTD) on October 13 to raise awareness about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors for thrombosis, a dangerous blood clotting condition that contributes to the deaths of 1 in 4 people worldwide.
The Rowan Foundation participates in WTD annually, along with many other organizations from around the globe, to help increase awareness about blood clots during this special day of recognition. On WTD this year, we will do the same…plus more!
We’re excited this year to also be implementing an important fundraising initiative in celebration of WTD 2024, on October 13. Save the date!
Less than a month from now, on October 13, Kendra Scott will donate 20% of all online sales, using a specific program code, to the Rowan Foundation to help our organization expand its educational efforts focused on women’s health and clotting.
As the date for this fundraising event approaches, we will share more information with you. Until then, please save the date – Sunday, October 13 – and set some time aside that day to support this simple and fun online fundraising effort.
