As the founder of the Alexandra Rowan Foundation, I am filled with deep gratitude as I reflect on our progress in the past year. The unwavering support of the clotting community has been instrumental in driving our mission to increase awareness about the clotting risks connected to women’s health.
Lookback: 2024
This year, we made significant progress with our work. Thanks in part to your generosity, we launched new educational initiatives aimed at equipping women with critical knowledge about inherited clotting disorders and the way in which genetic testing might help women make fully informed choices when contraception decisions are made. Most importantly, your commitment has allowed us to reach more people than ever before with this potentially life-saving information. 2025: The Year Ahead
As we look ahead, 2025 promises to be a pivotal year for the Rowan Foundation. For example, we will be expanding our inventory of resources focused on contraception decision-making, and we’re also looking to pursue new relationships with stakeholders in the clotting community, including healthcare professionals and business leaders.
Heading into the New Year, the Foundation also will be looking to increase its capacity, adding additional Board members and a medical advisor to further support our mission and ensure that we continue to elevate awareness about women’s health and clotting.
